Some truck drivers have been confirmed to be taking advantage of the tank truck that they were supposed to bring to the consignee. Instead, they sell the fuel to the local residents at a lower price than the market price. The money they earned is taken by them completely without the knowledge of the company.

Another problem for some truck drivers is that they lie about the amount of petrol they paid for. Their tactic of it is they told the petrol officer of how much they need to pay (RM) and get the exact amount in the receipt. Instead, they only fill up half of the price. They claimed the rest of the amount (RM) at the counter without remarking it in the receipt so they can took the balance amount for their personal purposes. Then, they claimed the original amount with the company (FGV).
Now, office personnel create new DO at ILDS Backoffice System. Then, the driver viewed SI & drive to pump for fueling. Driver touch the IC card at reader & get pump authorization from ILDS Server and can start fueling & pump automatically stop when it reach the approved limit. At the end of business day, Pump Operator will initiate End of Day (EOD) process at FAS POS to get reconciliation information (Total fill-up volume at FAS POS vs VMS) from ILDS Server.
Have A Good Relationship With Government Organization For A Reason
This can be related when there is a problem involving government officials, especially the police and customs. This problem has become a habit for some companies to get good compensation and to keep company's good image.
This can be understood when there is a delivery truck accident in Segamat and the government officer involved in the accident is a police officer. Losses in the delivery of goods are usually caused by an accident. The existence of a good relationship with police officers will give a good reward such as reducing the payment of the fined. FGV companies often use this method to reduce costs in the event of accidents or other bad things.
FGV top management have taken steps to overcome this corruption problem. At the lower level, they provide skills and training to their employees so that they do not commit mistakes that could involve the government organization. They also implement anti-bribery and corruption in their company so that employees in FGV do not use the opportunity to commit corruption because this culture will have a bad impact on their company such as dishonesty among employees.
